The PJA School

The PJA School, located in Upper Darby, PA, nearby Philadelphia, is a school specialized in providing short term, practical education in the fields of law, business/accounting and computers. The PJA School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) and licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

The programs of study offered at The PJA School are: paralegal, business/accounting, computer applications and legal secretary. All these careers are directed to fill the ever increasing need for individuals who can excel in those fields. At The PJA School they know that class schedule and program duration are an important factor to consider when deciding on a place to study, which is why the diploma degrees can be completed in as little as 7 months, and the specialized associate degrees are designed to last 18 months, with a choice of day time or evening classes.

Additionally, The PJA School has an Employment Assistance Office to support graduates with their job search upon completion of their programs and even during their time at the school by way of internships.

All applicants to The PJA School must meet basic requirements: hold a high school diploma or GED certificate, successfully complete an admission interview, present two letters of recommendation, write a sample and successfully complete an admission evaluation (additional requirements may apply for specific programs). All students at The PJA School can apply for financial aid by way of PJA’s interest free school payment plan, through state and/or federal grants or scholarships (a list of all available benefits is displayed at the school’s website).
