The Cittone Institute
The Cittone Institute is part of the Lincoln Educational Services Corporation, an educational organization that traces its roots all the way back to 1946, and that today is one of the nation’s leading providers of post secondary education. The Cittone Institute has six locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania that offer short term, career focused programs that cover a broad spectrum of subject areas, from health care to information technology. The institute is proud to provide its students with industry experienced instructors as well as hands on training. The Cittone Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
The Cittone Institute's two main educational divisions are the Allied Health Division and the Information Technology Division. The Allied Health Division offers the medical assistant, medical administrative assistant, medical assistant & administrative technology, medical coding & billing, pharmacy technician and massage therapy programs. The Information Technology Division features PC support technician, PC systems & networking technology, network system administrator, business administration specialist and graphic web design programs. While not all the programs are available at all the locations, all of them are designed to be completed in a short period of time, some of them lasting as little as 7 months (duration of specific programs must be inquired further).
Applicants interested in applying to The Cittone Institute must be 17 years or older and hold a high school diploma or GED certificate. A personal interview with an admissions representative is next, and upon receiving written acceptance into the school, students complete an enrollment agreement and pay an enrollment fee. The final step before the start date is to attend an orientation program to become acquainted with school policies and procedures.
The initial application can be done online using the link provided at the institute’s website. The Cittone Institute offers a financial aid program for qualifying students, which includes the options: state and/or federal grants, student loans, as well as scholarships.
