Vatterott College has a long tradition of excellence since the establishment in 1969, and it is this excellence that won them the award of "Best School" by the Missouri Association of Private Career Schools.
The school grew remarkably during 2004 with the acquisition of the Austin Business College in Texas, as well as with the launch of L'Ecole Culinaire in St. Louis.
Vatterott College also acquired the Wheeler Institute which operates the Court Reporting Institutes of Dallas and Houston. This acquisition added over 1000 students to the Vatterott organization and boosted growth in the great state of Texas.

Diplomas are offered in different technical and trade careers with 60 weeks of practical and classroom instruction. Additional 30 weeks may earn the student an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree of hands on study. And, a Bachelor of Science degree is offered in: Network Engineering and Computer Technology Computer Science and Information Systems Technology. In many industries—especially technology-related fields—professional certifications are important to landing a job and advancing in your career. Vatterott College prepares its graduates for several certifications including Microsoft Office User Specialists, the American Design Drafting Association - Certified Drafter, A+ Computer Certification, and a number of other certifications in areas such as heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, welding, and computer programming and network technology.
As technology advances constantly and a higher level of proficiency companies are required to remain competitive; a section of Vatterott College is dedicated to assure that both the private and public sector keep up. Customized training is available to companies and government agencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in the world. Customized programs at Vatterott College offer innovative training for companies of all sizes. The programs are designed specifically for the business and industry to meet workplace demands.
Specialized instruction includes the following areas: Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Computer Troubleshooting and Repair, Computer-Aided Drafting, Welding, Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Industrial Maintenance, Third Party Evaluations, and Certification Preparation and Testing.
All students enrolled or admitted at Vatterott may opt for economic help. Once that all required forms are completed, the Financial Aid Office will determine the financial aid award and will settle on the tuition payment plan.
The Federal Pell Grant program provides grants to students for each undergraduate year. The amount of the grant is based upon the financial assets of the student and/or the student's parents. Amount of awards may vary from year to year.
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) program provides assistance to students with exceptional needs.
The Federal Stafford Student Loan enables one to borrow directly from a bank, credit union, savings and loan association, or directly from the U.S. Department of Education. The loan is insured by the Federal Government. Repayment is a minimum of $50.00 per month, starting six months after graduation. The interest on these loans is below market rate, and determined by the Federal Government.
Federal Plus Loans are for parents who want to borrow to help pay for their children's education;
Unsubsidized Stafford Loans are for independent student borrowers. Both loans provide additional funds for educational expenses and, like Stafford Loans, are made by a lender such as a bank, credit union, savings and loan association, or the U.S. Department of Education.
Veterans Educational Benefits through the Veteran's Administration may pay monthly educational allowances to qualified students to help defray the cost of tuition and living expenses. For further information, contact the Veteran's Administration or the Admissions Office at Vatterott College. Not all training programs are approved for veterans. Please note that students are responsible for their tuition payments, not the Veteran’s Administration.
Government sponsored programs such as Vocational Rehabilitation, in addition to qualified students from other state and federal programs such as Job's Training Partnership Act, The Older American Act, the Trade Readjustment Act, and the Indian Education Bureau are accepted at Vatterott College.
Vatterott helps students reach their career goals! While students are working on their studies, staff is working on getting students a job so they can take advantage of the new learned skills such as: job seach coaching & guidance, resume review, mock interviewing, resume referral, and campus career fairs.
