Pima Medical Institute
Pima Medical Institute began its operations in 1972 as part of a couple’s dream. Richard and JoAnn Luebke started offering medical education and training in Tucson, Arizona. This dream grew, and step by step, they receive approval by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and added new campuses in order to meet the demand of students and the medical industry. Today, Pima Medical Institute has campuses in Mesa and Tucson in Arizona, Chula Vista in California, Colorado Springs and Denver in Colorado, Las Vegas in Nevada, Albuquerque in New Mexico, and Renton and Seattle in Washington. In all campuses, they offer programs that are both short and affordable.
Pima Medical Institute offers associate degrees in Respiratory Therapy, Veterinary Technician, Physical Therapist Assistant, Nursing, Radiography, and Ophthalmic Medical Technician. Regarding certificate programs, they offer programs in Dental Assistant, Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Veterinary Assistant, Phlebotomy, Physical, Therapy Technician, Medical Administrative Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Ophthalmic Medical Assistant, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, and Health Unit Coordinator.
They also offer an online program: Advanced Placement Track-Radiography. These are quality programs, taught by highly skilled and prepared professionals. At Pima Medical Institute, instructors expect students to reach their maximum potential. To be admitted, students have to be proven to take advantage of the chosen program. The requirements include having a high school diploma or equivalent, passing the entrance exam, and having a personal interview.
In order to assist you during this process, Pima Medical Institute counts on an admission department. Also, they offer financial aid for those who qualify. Help is available in the following forms: Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG, Federal Stafford Loan (subsidized and unsubsidized), Federal Parent Loans for Undergraduates, Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership, and Campus Based Funding.
