Technical Career Institutes (TCI) is a degree-granting college committed to educating men and women interested in careers and further academic opportunities in the technical fields. It is located in New York City and since 1909 it has been preparing students for the real changes they will face in the job market.

Those students who select TCI as the door to brilliant future may obtain an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) or an Associate of Occupational Studies (A.O.S) in Business Administration-Accounting, Computerized Accounting Systems Technology, Digital Media Arts Technology, Office Technology, Health Information Technology, Basic Electronics Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics Technology, Networking Technology, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology, and Facilities Maintenance & Management Technology. These programs are organized within divisions that provide for the academic and administrative coordination of related disciplines of study.

TCI offers students a building designed and equipped for providing them all the tools and facilities required for developing a successful career; the facilities include 57 air-conditioned classrooms, Library, Learning Center, Student Lounge, Electronics, Computer and HVAC and Building Maintenance Laboratories, Posman Collegiate Bookstore likewise, Counseling, Workshops and Seminars, Cooperative Education and Internship, and Placement Services.

Students who want to be admitted at TCI are required to submit a high school diploma or its equivalent, provide immunization records, submit the results of a blood test from a physician, also the Accuplacer Computerized Assessment, Career Programs Assessment and the Combined English Language Skills Assessment are part of this process.

TCI helps students to learn, grow, and succeed with their excellence in programs and services, but also with financial assistance including Federal and State Grant Programs, Institutional Grants and Scholarships, Self-Help Programs and Educational Loans.
