The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati

Created in 2004, the Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati is a 57,000 square foot facility located Woodlawn, OH, that provides higher education for traditional and nontraditional students who, upon graduation, possess the skills and the knowledge necessary to succeed in whatever field they choose to follow, in addition to contribute to the economic growth and social well being of the areas it serves.

The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati is a member of the Art Institutes family, one of the largest post secondary career oriented education for the creative arts, and is one of 32 Art Institutes located in major cities throughout the U.S. The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and is a member of Ohio Council College and Schools. The programs available at the Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati prepare students for creative, challenging, and perhaps most importantly, in demand careers. The programs are fashion marketing (8 quarter AOS degree encompassing the creative and business sides of the career), graphic design (AOS degree program that includes marketing, art direction, etc), interactive media design (AOS degree program covering visual design, audio, website design, animation, etc) and interior design (AOS degree program covering all aspects of the business).

The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati offers to its students support to find a job, not only upon graduation, but rather before it, in order to gain precious experience on the field. Candidates wishing to enroll at the Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati must present their high school diploma or GED certificate and an essay along with their application. Candidates are individually interviewed to determine their compatibility with the programs provided at the school. Once all requirements have been fulfilled and the application approved, applicants can benefit from school programs such as tutoring, student health, students advisors, student housing and financial aid.
