Giving the training needed to start on the track of success, Southwestern College’s career-focused programs span a variety of subject areas such as health care, business and computers. Southwestern College can help students achieve career goals, whether they are interested in medical office training or an associate degree in business. Committed to student’s success, Southwestern College offers students several places of study in Ohio and Kentucky. The technical schools located in Ohio are in Dayton, Franklin and Cincinnati; and the one in Kentucky is in Florence. Graduates of Southwestern College are prepared for career success and prepared to stand out among competition because courses are given by instructors who understand the demands of the industry.
Understanding that education is an investment in the future, the financial aid office at Southwestern College is there to help students build up their future with ease. Southwestern can help in putting together a financial assistance plan to facilitate qualifying students manage the cost of education, including books and tools. Southwestern College also offers a variety of student services including: Orientation (new students are required to assist orientation sessions), tutoring, free parking (except for Vine Street and Dayton campuses), refresher courses, library, job search service and facilities (which are clean with well-lit building with classrooms conducive to learning).
Committed to the educational and personal enrichment of its students, Southwestern College is fully accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). The college has programs in 3 different areas, each with several programs available to choose from. In the Business division the following programs are available: Accounting, Administrative Assistant, Business Administration and Computerized Accounting; in the Allied Health Division are available: Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding and Phlebotomy; and in the Information Technology Division are: Computer Applications and Computer Information Specialist.
