Featuring an impressive 45,000 square feet facility located in Henderson, Nevada, The Art Institute of Las Vegas is a leader in providing post secondary education programs in the creative and applied arts, maximizing the creativity and professional development of its students, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to start a career in the field of their choosing. The school is one of 32 Art Institutes located in major cities throughout the U.S that have been providing higher education for individuals interested in design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts for more than 35 years. Out of the total graduates of the institute in 2004, 95.5% were working in their fields within six months of graduation, earning an average salary of over $28,000.

The Art Institute of Las Vegas offers an incredibly vast number of choices for students to pick from: baking and pastry (diploma and AOS degrees), culinary arts (AOS degree), culinary management (BS degree), digital media production (BS degree), drafting technology with AutoCAD (AOS degree), game art & design (BS degree), graphic design (AOS and BS degrees), interactive media design (BS degree), interior design (BA degree), media arts & animation (BS degree), the art of cooking (diploma degree) and visual effects & motion graphics (BS degree).

Additionally, the Art Institute of Las Vegas offers assistance with orientation, student housing, counseling services and student health programs. In order to apply to the Art Institute of Las Vegas, all candidates must meet with an assistant director of admissions to determine which of the academic choices available at the school would better suit their needs. Applicants must also present their high school transcripts or GED test scores and fill out the application form available online, as well as paying a $50 admission fee.
