Louisville Technical Institute: Dynamism, Change, and Growth

In 1961, George Dumbaugh founded Louisville Technical Institute. This dynamic, changing and growing institution is located in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville Tech meets the needs and high-tech demands of the industry by staying abreast of new technologies. Louisville Technical Institute is part of the Sullivan University System, which includes Spencerian College in Louisville and Lexington and Sullivan University in Louisville, Lexington and Fort Knox. Throughout the years, this school has earned the respect of businesses and industries in the region. The five keys to student success at Louisville Tech are: short-term career programs, high commitment to student success, four-day school week, individual financial planning assistance (if qualified) and alumni privileges.

The educational programs of Louisville Technical Institute are: Information Systems Security, Robotics, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Design Drafting, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Computer Network Administration. The classes (except Computer Network Administration/Information Systems Security) are normally held Monday through Thursday on four 11-week sessions during the calendar year. As mentioned before, individual financial planning assistance is available at Louisville Tech (if qualified). This assistance is Work Force Investment Board approved, VA and Vocational Rehabilitation approved and approved for both federal and state assistance; in addition, payment plans are available.
