Stockton is an area that grows continuously and jobs are created and offered as well; that is why at Heald College, the staff is conscious that their students should be educated to be part of a demanding market. Students are given the chance to be rewarded with careers for top employers if they decide to embark with Heald College as part of their educational choice.

Stockton’s Heald College offers the student a series of advantages that will allow them to perform better as a learner. For instance, teaching spaces designed in such a way that the student’s comfort is maximized. Those who are acquainted with pedagogy know that round tables are quite an effective method to stimulate communication and teamwork; that is why round tables are a choice in their classrooms.

Equally important are the 350 workstations, the computer labs with their own flat-screen monitors, and a hands-on lab for troubleshooting and computer repair. Heald College also offers a Learning Resource Center with its own library and computer lab. Technology is a big man on campus!! Every single student has access to free email and Internet!

For those future dentists, there is a dental lab (1500 square foot) with digital radiography equipment, a dark room for X-ray development, and sterilization and material labs. Even though technology is what matters nowadays, they still know that books (actual textbooks i.e.) are very necessary so there is a bookstore on campus.

At Heald College in Stockton, human relations are extremely significant, and that is why peer mentoring and academic advising is offered to the student. Furthermore, there are 28 faculty members on staff ready to guide students whenever necessary.

As mentioned before, Heald College in Stockton, offers a program with different careers from 3 major areas (business, technology and healthcare). The careers for the future professionals in business are: accounting, agribusiness, business administration, criminal justice, legal assisting and office skills. Next, for those interested in technology: Cisco®Systems and Network Systems Administration. And finally for healthcare: medical office administration, medical assisting and dental assisting.

Money is always a big issue for students! This is a known fact and a reality! That is why at Heald College there is financial aid. There are public, private and government plans available for students. These advantages include: Federal Pell Grants, Heald Merit Scholarships, Federal Work Study, Private Lender Alternative Loans, among others.

Finally, meeting the right people will allow the student to decide if Heald is the place where he/she wants to be. That is why advisors offer FREE career planning whether the person knows what he or she wants to study, the advisor will happily guide the student to suggest the best choice career wise!

There is nothing easier than Heald’s enrollment process. Just take a look at these simple steps:

1) Interview with an admissions advisor.

2) Indicate that you have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
