To be a successful business major you have to be interested in studying topics ranging from computers to ethics to accounting. Good organization, time management, writing and speaking skills are highly valued. Typical courses of this major include principles of marketing, managerial finance, management, legal environment of business, economics, computer applications, business law, business communications and accounting.
